Adaptive Technology Assessment and Training
Mainely Access Inc., founded in 2004, is a company, staffed by rehabilitation professionals who have provided adaptive technology services to over 1,000 individuals within the state of Maine. With Master's Degrees in Special Education, and Certifications in Low Vision Therapy, Rehabilitation Teaching and Orientation and Mobility, the staff of Mainely Access Inc. brings the highest level of professionalism to the services we provide.
With a focus on services to consumers who are blind or visually impaired, we provide adaptive technology assessment and training utilizing a wide variety of assistive devices and software. Services are available statewide and can be provided in the workplace, school, or home.
In addition to adaptive technology services for those who are blind or visually impaired, we are also pleased to offer training in the use of various speech recognition packages, as well as other alternative methods of computer input for those who require alternatives to the standard keyboard and mouse.
We serve everyone from preschoolers to senior citizens and provide the products and training that enable an individual to harness the information a computer can provide.
Additionally, we provide consultation to a variety of colleges and universities, private employers, government organizations and non-profits.

Training $120 per hour
Travel time is charged at our regular hourly rate.
